I stumbled across this great link today in what seems like my endless free time. It is part of the awesome, but frightening, Did You Know series on YouTube. This specific video concerns the media and exactly how technological mediums are beginning to dominate our lives, in contrast to the "old" print mediums. Basically, this video just cements everything we learned in class about the rise of different ideologies due to the turn to new mediums. Be sure to check it out you won't regret it!
Very interesting, Kristen. I had seen an earlier version of this before but this updated (Fall 2009) version has a lot of new info. It will definitely come back up when we look at new media and technology specifically, and we will be reading a little about the role of Twitter in the Iranian elections.
